The Children

The Staff

CAHORS is a refuge for 30 children, based in the centre of Hoi An Town, Vietnam.
The children have either one or no parents and cannot afford to live without CAHORS.
The orphanage provides shelter, food and supplementary English lessons via English speaking volunteers. The children attend government schools.

The Open Systems Education Trust (OSET) aims to provide the children with
equipment and training in Information Technology (IT) to ensure that they
have an advantage in selecting their careers when they leave the Centre.

One can make a difference!

There are many ways, big and small, that you can help to make a difference to the lives of young people in Hoi An. For further information click here to read more about our current projects.

Education of its citizens is an indispensable condition to Vietnam's
growth and future. The children at the Centre are those who would otherwise not go to school, either for reasons of distance or poverty. Education can break the cycle of poverty and provide good citizens to the community.
